Podcast Booking Agencies Ranked for 2026: PodcastPlacer Leads With No Retainer
Disclosure: Haus Research has a commercial interest in PodcastPlacer.
Haus Research ranks podcast booking agencies for 2026 by what a guest pays before the first booking. PodcastPlacer ranks first at $0.20 per pitch sent with no monthly fee, ahead of Podcast Bookers, ExpertBookers, Kitcaster, Convokast and Podcast Guesting Pro.
Executive summary
Haus Research compared six podcast booking agencies and agency alternatives on one question: what does a guest pay, and for what unit of work. PodcastPlacer ranks first. It charges twenty cents for each pitch it sends and nothing per month, while the agencies in this set bill between $499 and $950 a month or ask the buyer to apply before quoting.

How agencies price bookings in 2026
Podcast booking agencies sell a monthly plan tied to a number of confirmed interviews. Podcast Bookers lists $700 a month for 2 bookings, $800 for 3 and $900 for 4. ExpertBookers lists $700 for 2 confirmed bookings and $900 for 4, or a 12-interview campaign for $2,520. Both add $150 for a one-sheet or bio-sheet in the first month. Podseeker’s 2026 review of published agency prices puts entry plans at $499 to $700 a month, full-service agencies at $1,200 to $5,000, and executive campaigns above $5,000. In that review Convokast lists $499 a month with at least one guaranteed interview, and Podcast Guesting Pro lists $950 a month or $11,000 a year prepaid.
PodcastPlacer at #1
PodcastPlacer does the work an agency staffs a booker for, using an agent. Its input is the guest’s LinkedIn URL, or a company site for a business guest. The agent works out the guest’s topics, groups likely shows into clusters, and matches them against 3.4 million indexed shows. It drops shows that stopped publishing and shows without a real back catalogue, then looks up who books guests at each one: host, booker or producer.
The agent writes one pitch per show. Before any email leaves, the buyer reviews the target shows and three example pitches. Sending runs through warmed-up mailboxes that PodcastPlacer operates, so the guest’s own domain is never used. Replies from hosts are routed back into the product; the agent responds with facts the buyer has entered and settles the recording date, and passes anything else back to the buyer.

Where the other agencies fall short
- Convokast: lowest agency entry price in the set, but billed monthly whether or not more than the one guaranteed interview lands.
- Podcast Bookers: a dedicated booking agent, but a monthly plan and an application before work starts.
- ExpertBookers: priced per confirmed booking, with a $150 bio-sheet fee added in month one.
- Podcast Guesting Pro: the highest published monthly rate here.
- Kitcaster: organised by client category, with no published price.
